Herstmonceux
Gardener's Club was formed in 2000 when three flower societies merged,
these being:-
Herstmonceux
Horticultural Society, Herstmonceux
Fuchsia Society and Herstmonceux
in Bloom Committee.
Our
Mission
-
To
promote the growing and showing of flowers, vegetables and fruit.

To
plant and maintain hanging baskets, planters and troughs to decorate our
village.

To fund and maintain our
Conservation Area and develop for the benefit of the
village.

To maintain the grass verges
in the village area.
Show
Herstmonceux
Gardener's Club put on one show a year in July. Our Show Schedule can be accessed from the show page, new
schedules will be updated every January on our website and is in .pdf format.

Venue
The
venue for most of our events is Herstmonceux Village Hall.
Events
Evening events are on the second Wednesday of every month
(except August) beginning at 7.30pm
and normally end about 9.30pm all Wednesday evening events are free entrance to
members and 25p to non-members and include refreshments, our Show is held on a Saturday and is open to the
public a 11am and closes at 3pm, entrance is free to members
and 25p to the public.
